About BIMS (Belagavi Institute Of Medical Science) Belgaum
BIMS (Belagavi Institute Of Medical Science) Belgaum is a medical college in Karnataka State. Belagavi Institute was started in the year 2005. BIMS is affiliated with RGUHS and was recognized by the National Medical Council of India. Initially, there are only 100 seats in this college but in 2017, 50 seats have been increased. Now, there is a total of 150 seats available in this college. More than 1000 MBBS graduates and 100 PG students have completed their education. This college has separate girls’ and boys’ hostels. Belagavi institute has well-qualified and equipped teachers. In 2020, BIMS secured the 12th position in all Government medical institutes in India. The current chairperson of the Belagavi Institute of Medical Science is Dr. Ramaiah.
