Dham Yatra or Dham Tour is the spiritual journey of a pilgrim to visit Hindu temples in India. The Yatra usually begins from one’s home or a nearby point and goes back to the same point after visiting all four destinations. The Char Dham sites are found high in the Himalayas, each with its unique history, mythology, and traditions regarding their existence and importance. The pilgrimage is believed to help the pilgrim find the blessings of the gods and to gain Moksha, or liberation from the cycle of rebirths.
