The Central Teachers Eligibility Test (CTET) is conducted for candidates who want to work as government teachers. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducts this exam twice a year. Candidates who want to make their career in the teaching field prepare for this exam. Aspirants have the choice to give the exam in 20 languages.
CTET 2023 Notification
The selected candidates who qualify for this exam will get the chance to work as a teacher in government schools. The CTET exam is conducted for the candidates in two parts part 1 and Part 2. Paper 1 is for the aspirants who want to teach students of classes 1 to 5 and paper 2 is for the candidates who want to work as a teacher of classes 6 to 8. Individual who wants to become a teacher of 1 to 8 have to give both exams. CTET is conducted twice a year in July and December.
The CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) dates have been announced. The release of the CTET admits card is December 20, 2022. According to the latest updates, the exam will be conducted between December 2022 – January 2023. The central board has not announced the final dates yet. Candidates should visit the official website frequently to check the latest notification. All the announcements regarding the exam will be made on the website. Applicants can see the exam notifications and schedule dates in form of a PDF file called an ‘information bulletin’. This PDF file is in Hindi and English medium so that all individuals can obtain information from it easily. This file can also be downloaded from the website.

Education Qualification for Paper 1(1 to 5)
The candidate should be 12th pass with a minimum of 50 % marks and also must have a two-year diploma in teaching.
It is must that the applicant should have passed 12th with 45 % marks and should have a two-year diploma in Elementary Education as per the NCTE regulations 2023
Individuals should have completed four years of a bachelor of teaching (B.EL. ED).
Education Qualification for Paper 2 (6 to 8)
Candidate should graduate with a minimum of 50% marks and also should have a qualified 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.).
Applicants must have a qualified final year of a 2-year diploma in teaching.
It is necessary to pass graduate with a 45% pass and have a qualified 1- year Bachelor of Education.
It is necessary to complete graduation with 50% marks and should have completed the last year of bachelor in teaching (4-year duration)
Passed 12 the examination with 50 % marks and qualified for the final year B.Sc./B.Sc. Ed/B. A/B.A.Ed. (4-year duration)
Admit cards will be issued a few days before the exam. Candidates can download the card from the official website. The card can be downloaded by using the registration no, DOB and password. The details that are mentioned in the admit card are the name of the candidate, Roll number, Category, Date of Birth, Signature of the candidate, Date and time of the exam, Medium of the Question paper, and Exam Centre Number.

Candidates who have given the exam can check the result on the official website. The result will be announced on the website after the completion of the exam. The details that will be mentioned on the result are the name, roll number, and marks obtained.
