Gujarat TET Exam– Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Primary Teachers (1 to Vth Classes)
- The interested candidates should have passed the Senior Secondary / 12th Class (or Its Equivalent) with at least 45% marks.
- Individuals appearing final year of 2 – a year Diploma in Elementary Education / 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed.) are also allowed to apply.
- Candidates who have done graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education are also eligible.
Upper Primary Teachers (VI to VIII Classes)
- The candidates who want to teach students of VI to VIII Classes must have done the Graduation and passed/appeared in the final year of two- a year Diploma in Elementary Education.
- It is necessary to have graduated with a minimum of 50% marks and a one-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.)
- Individual must have passed Senior Secondary with a minimum of 50 % marks and passed or appeared in the final year of a four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El. Ed).
- Candidates who have done Graduation with a minimum of 50% mark and a one-year B.Ed. (Special Education) are also allowed to apply.
Age Limit Gujarat TET Exam
The minimum age limit if the candidate should be 18 years and the maximum age limit must be 37 years. Age relaxation will be given according to the Gujarat state government rules and regulations.
Gujarat TET Exam 2023 Application fee
The candidates who belong to the General category have to pay RS 350/- and the SC / ST/ PWD people will pay 250 RS/– The online facility is given to pay the fees, and candidates can pay the fees with the help of Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking.
Gujarat TET Exam Pattern 2023
Candidates have to give this exam in offline mode which is Paper-Pen Based Test. The exam will be conducted in two papers and each paper will have 150 multiple-choice questions. For every correct answer, one mark will be given and no negative marking will be there for wrong answers. Individuals will be given 2 and ½ hrs to complete the exam.

Procedure to Apply Gujarat TET Online Application Form 2023

- The home page of the website will open on the screen.
- Find Gujarat Teacher’s Eligibility Test Online Application Form.
- Now you have to choose the paper TET 1 (Primary Teacher) OR TET 2 (Secondary Teacher)
- Now submit the details such as name, father’s name, DOB, etc.
- Complete the payment of the application fee.
- Review the filled application form before the final submission.
- You can Take the printout of the application form for future use.
Gujarat TET Exam Admit Card
The admit card will be issued on the official website before the exam. Admission is very important to take for the exam. If the candidates fail to show the card to the examiner, then he/she will not be allowed to give the exam. The details mentioned on the admit card they are the name of the candidate, roll number, father’s name, category, sub-category, photograph, signature, date of birth, the language of the question paper, exam time, date, and venue.
