Online Registration Process

  • Visit the State Employment Exchange website for online registration.

  • Log in to the State Employment Exchange website using your credentials, which you created during the registration process.
  • Select your district name from the available options. Some states may also ask for your native state and district details, so make sure to follow the instructions provided on the respective state portal.
  • Fill out the profile form with accurate and up-to-date information. This form may require details such as your personal information, educational background, work experience, caste sports achievements, handicapped status (supported by Medical Board/CMO certificate) ex-serviceman status widow status, freedom fighter status, and proof of residence, among others. Provide all necessary information as requested.
  • After filling out the profile form, submit it through the website. Upon successful submission, you will receive an acknowledgement. This acknowledgement should include the following information:
  • Registration Number
  • Registration Date
  • Name of the Employment Exchange
  • It is essential to print and keep this acknowledgement for future reference.
  • Within 15 days from the date of registration, you must visit the Employment Exchange mentioned in your acknowledgement and produce all relevant certificates in support of your education, experience, caste, sports achievements, handicapped status (if applicable, supported by a Medical Board/CMO certificate), ex-serviceman status, widow status, freedom fighter status, and proof of residence, etc. The time limit for submission of these documents may vary from state to state.

    • Certificate from Municipal Councilor/Sarpanch.
    • Proof of job in the State of either of the parents.
    • Certificate of Education in the State.
    • Letter from gazetted officer or school head.
    • Certificate issued by an MLA/MP.
    • Domicile Certificate

Offline Registration Process

  • Visit the nearest employment exchange office in your area of residence during their operating hours.
  • Request the required application form for employment registration from the office staff.
  • Fill out the application form with accurate and complete information. Ensure that you provide all the necessary details, such as your personal information, contact details, educational qualifications, work experience, and any other information requested on the form.
  • Collect all your up-to-date education and experience-related certificates. Make photocopies of these certificates and ensure that they are attested, either by a Gazetted Officer or any authorized personnel specified by the employment exchange.
  • Prepare your resume or curriculum vitae (CV), which should include your educational background, work experience, skills, and any other relevant information about your qualifications and achievements.
  • If applicable, provide a caste certificate (this may be optional, depending on the employment exchange’s requirements). Make sure that this certificate is valid and up-to-date.
  • You may also need to provide photographs as per the employment exchange’s guidelines. Ensure that the photographs meet the specified size and format requirements.
  • Once you have completed the application form and gathered all the necessary documents, visit the employment exchange office again.
