SBI PO ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Essential Academic Qualifications
- Interested candidates should be graduates in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
- Individuals who are working in professions such as Medical, Engineering, Chartered Accountant, and Cost Accountant can also apply for the post.
- Individuals who are in the last year or Semester of their Graduation can also apply but with the condition that at the time of the interview they have to show proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 31.12.2022.
Age Limit
The interested candidate should not be below 21 years and not above 30 years.

APPLICATION FEE
For General/ EWS/ OBC candidates, the application Fee will be 750/- and SC/ ST/ PwBD candidates don’t have to pay any fees. Application Fee once paid will not be refunded.
SELECTION PROCEDURE
The selection procedure for SBI PO posts includes a three-Phase process

Phase II: Main Examination
The candidate has to give an online examination and which will include Objective Tests for 200 marks and Descriptive Test for 50 marks. The descriptive exam will be conducted immediately after the finish of the Objective Test. Applicants will type their Descriptive Test answers on the computer.
(i) Objective Test: The duration of the objective test is 3 hours, and it consists of 4 Sections for a total of 200 marks. There will be separate timing for every section. | ||||

Penalty for wrong answers is done for both – Preliminary & Main Examination. Penalty for wrong answers marked in Objective Tests will be imposed. For each wrong answer, 1/4th of the marks will be deducted as a penalty. If the candidate has not attended the question and left a question blank then there will be no penalty for that question.
Selection Criteria For Phase-III
Category-wise merit list will be made based on the aggregate marks scored in Phase II (Main Exam). There will be no sectional cut-off.
Phase-III: Psychometric Test
Those applicants who will be selected for Phase III may have to give a Psychometric test for personality profiling. According to the notification, the finding of the test may be placed before the Interview panel for having a thorough perspective on the candidates.

Final Selection
The applicants are required to qualify for both Phase II and Phase III separately. For making the final merit list, the marks of the Main Examination (Phase II), both in the Objective Test and the Descriptive Test, will be added to the marks obtained in Phase III. The marks of the Preliminary Examination (Phase-I) will not be considered for preparing the final merit list for selection.

Guidelines for Filling Out the Online Application
- Individuals who are interested in SBI PO posts have to register themselves online through Bank’s ‘Career’ website bank.sbi or sbi.co.in.
- After the registration procedure the candidates have to pay the application fee by using online mode with the help of a debit card/ credit card/ Internet Banking.
