Good news for all the students who wanted to apply for Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Exam. Tamil Nadu Entrance Test is an Exam that is required to take admission in Postgraduate (PG) courses such as M.E., M.TECH, M. Arch, etc. TANCET exam is conducted by Anna University, Chennai instead of Tamil Nadu Government. Through this exam, you can get admission to Tamil Nadu colleges. This exam is conducted once a year.
TANCET registration was started on 1st February 2023 and the last date to apply is 22nd February 2023. But they have extended the last day of registration. Many candidates were unable to register. So, the new last date of registration is 28th February. The exam dates for MBA and MCA courses are 25th March 2023, and the TANCET Exam date for ME, and M. Tech is 26th March 2023. TANCET 2023 Exam Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Candidates applying for the exam must have a graduation degree from a recognized University.
- Candidates must have 50% marks in their Graduation.
- For MCA courses candidates must have Mathematics subject in class 12th.
Age Limit
There is no age limit for applying means any person age group person can apply.

TANCET Exam Pattern for MBA/MCA/M.E./M. Tech/M. Arch/M. Plan
- TANCET exam duration will be 120 minutes.
- There will be total 100 Number of questions.
- For every right answer you will get 1 mark.
- For every wrong answer 1/2 marks will be deducted.
- Exam will be conducted in offline mode via OMR sheet.
- Paper will be available in both English and Tamil language.
- TANCET Exam will be of 100 marks.
- The question will be objective type with multiple choices of answer.
- Unanswered/unattempt question will be giving zero marks.
