Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) announced various vacancies for eligible and qualified candidates. The notification regarding the opening is made available on the official website. With the help of the notification, the candidates will be able to know about the eligibility criteria, selection process, final dates, no of vacancies, salary scale, and application process. The vacancies are available for the posts of Deputy Commissioner, Assistant Director, Rubber Production Commissioner, Scientist ‘B, Scientific Officer (Electrical), Fisheries Research Investigation Officer, Assistant Director, Deputy Legislative Counsel, Assistant Engineer, Senior Scientific Officer, and Junior Translation Officer. Online applications are invited from 14-01-2023. The last date for submission of the online application is 02.02.2023 and the last date for printing the completely submitted online application is 03.02.2023.
UPSC Scientist B Recruitment Eligibility Criteria
Nationality
The interested individual must be a citizen of India.
Application Fees
The applicants who are willing to apply for the vacancies have to pay a fee of Rs. 25/-. The candidates who belong to SC/ST/PwBD/Women category don’t have to pay the fee. The fees can be paid in any branch of the SBI by cash or with the help of net banking of the SBI or by visa/master credit/debit card. Fees once paid will not be given back in any circumstances.
Educational Qualification
For Deputy Commissioner, the candidates should have a Master’s Degree in Horticulture, Agriculture, or Botany with a specialization in horticulture from a recognized University.
The individual who is interested in Assistant Director (Toxicology) post, should have Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Science or Masters’s Degree in Pharmacology or Toxicology from a recognized University. It is also necessary to have three years of working experience in a lab or hospital or institution in a related field of Pharmacology or Toxicology.
For Rubber Production Commissioner, the applicants should have a Post Graduate Degree in Botany or Agriculture from a recognized University. It is compulsory for the Scientist ‘B’ (Non-destructive) post, the individual must have a Master’s Degree in Physics from a recognized University. It is also necessary to have one year of practical experience in Non-destructive /metallographic techniques as employed in Testing/evaluation/failure investigation of materials.
A Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Metallurgy from a recognized University or Institute is required. Two years of practical experience in Non-destructive /metallographic techniques as employed in testing/evaluation/failure investigation of materials is a must.
For Scientific Officer (Electrical), the candidates should have a Master’s Degree in Physics or Degree in Electrical Engineering or Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from a recognized University. One year of experience is required.
