WBPSC AE Recruitment Eligibility Criteria
Nationality
The candidates who want to apply for the post should be permanent citizens of India.
Educational Qualifications
The interested candidates should have done Bachelor’s in Engineering (B. E) or B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
The individual must have done one year’s post-Graduate practical training or study or research or practical engineering experience.
Age
The maximum age limit of the individual who is interested in filling these vacancies should be 36 years. The age relaxation will be given according to the government rules and regulations.

WBPSC AE Recruitment 2023 Application Fee
Individuals who belong to the Unreserved & OBC category should pay the application fee of 160 Rs with the extra service charge. SC, ST of West Bengal & PH people don’t have to pay the application fee, they are exempted from the fee.
West Bengal PSC Assistant Engineer Selection Process
The selection process includes a written exam and interview.
Written exam – to get selected the candidates have to qualify for the written test. The written exam is of 200 marks and the date, time and venue will be informed to the applicants. Objective-type questions will be asked in the exam and an OMR sheet will be given to the candidates.
Interview- The interview round will be conducted after the completion of the written test. In this round, the skill and ability of the individual will be accessed. The applicant should be confident to face the panel of the interview. The final selection will be done according to the marks obtained in both the written tests and interviews. The interview round will be 100 marks.
